Tara Leigh Cormack, R.N., CNOR
- Tara was raised in Key West where she graduated Key West High School in 1990. She continued her education with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Health Information Management at Florida International University in 1995. Subsequently, she received Associate in Science degree in Nursing as she felt being in the medical world she needed to be well versed with the clinical side of health as well. Beginning her career in Health Information Management she ran her own business in the medical billing in Key West, FL., while working part time in nursing. In 2002 she decided to work full time in nursing where she found herself loving the specialty of surgical nursing. She has since worked as a surgical nurse and then in 2007 was asked by the local surgeons to help open and run the Surgery Center of Key West, LLC and out-patient surgical service to present. Finally, in her off time she spends her time with her two children and husband enjoying sports and the water.
